As human beings, we either conform to other peoples expectations or follow our own routine.
There is a misconception that societal standards are considered "normal", when the reality is that it's just a label that was stamped on for many years.
This creates this false idea of how people are expected to act according to the environment and even the media.
An example of this is just being in your own skin, you notice a scowling look and you wonder to yourself:
What am I doing wrong?
Automatically we are prone to blame ourselves for the way people perceive us, when in actuality it is the way they expect us to be.
The way the world is run is subjective to each and every point-of-view, so does other peoples' expectations really matter?
The answer is some-what obvious,
but no.
At the end of the day, we are all the same no matter what people expect us to be. It's important to know your own identity and
OWN IT!
Do not hesitate to be yourself despite the expectations, because you really only live once.
Live for yourself and not for others.
